WE HAD SOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN....
AKL is under refurbishment. But we honestly could not tell. They were very quiet. Work was only done between 9am-6pm.
When we got to the hotel they let us check in early.
They upgraded our room to a Savannah view and our room was new!!!!!!!!
They are remodeling all the rooms. Showers now have glass doors, no carpets, new beds, and furniture, removed all interior doors and replaced with pocket doors, new closets, and shower is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, and new dryers. Do they also allow dogs??? Saw several who were not service dogs?? 
We decided after we arrived to get the tickets for the Magic Kingdom after-hours event 9pm-12am
It was SO WORTH the extra $296.00. 
We got to ride every ride in the Magic Kingdom!!! 
NO LINES! NO WAIT!! FREE bottle drinks, Mickey Icecream sandwiches, Mickey on a stick and Popcorn. All you wanted!!!! It was so much fun. I was up for 22 hours on Mon, but worth it..
Fast Passes where crazy. We had the ones we booked before we left. But even after that, they had nothing. I made friends with several front desk concierge and relation team members at the parks. They gave us EXTRA fast passes for Frozen, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story, flying saucers, Tower of Terror ( 🤢), extra ones for Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and a few others. We got to ride everything we wanted at least once if not 3/4 times.
If we were extra friendly to cashiers at quick service they gave us extra snacks, drinks. 
They changed the snack selections again for the plan, but they were still ok.
We noticed the crowd calendar we used to choose dates was about 80% accurate. There was a major uptick in traffic on Thursday. Gangs of cheerleaders everywhere, and a huge group of girls that were with Fifteen ( a Brazilian group of 15-year-old girls) 
We saw one kid throwing punches at her mom and grandma in Starwars land, a mean lady at a parade that would not let me next to her and kinda nudged me out the way. But when she tried to do it to someone else they had a verbal argument. 
Weather was good, even wore shorts one day.
So much food brought home lots of snacks, We ate at Marrakesh in Epcot. James got a little show while eating a rack of lamb... Belly dancer.
