Hang in there... travel will rebound. It always does and we are stronger for it...
I’ve been a travel agent since 1978. It might be easier to name the places I haven’t been rather then the ones I have been. I pretty much have been everywhere in Canada, USA, Alaska, Mexico, and the Caribbean. I’ve done specialty trips to the Panama Canal, zip lining in Costa Rica, snorkeled in Belize and Honduras, climbed the Pyramids in Egypt, Sheered sheep in New Zealand, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef in Australia plus watched a Romeo and Juliet play in Shakespere Country...I’ve shopped everywhere (my house looks like a museum), drank special drinks from heated sake in Tokyo, wines in Athens and shots of tequila in Mexico (no worm). I’ve skied every blue and green slope in Colorado. I’m not good enough for the blacks and yellows.
I don’t like heights, but have ridden helicopters in Hawaii, Alaska, California and Colorado and would do all of them again.
I’ve ridden elephants, camels, horses, donkeys, cows and gondolas. I’ve eaten escargot, octopus, green bread, fish that I can’t spell, red meat I can’t name, vegetables I didn’t recognize and still lived to tell the story. I’ve never had Montezuma’s revenge but have had many hangovers from local drinks that “won’t hurt me”.
I’ve danced the two step, waltz, reggae, limbo, Macarena, salsa and some dances even I can’t or won’t describe (but never on top of a table).
I enjoy traveling and experiencing life. I have two boys and a fantastic husband. My oldest son is currently in the U.S. Army, but was wounded in January of 2007 (he’s healing). My youngest son is in college wanting to be a massage therapist.
I am involved with many local community clubs. I am a very active member of the Pasadena Rotary Club, Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross and many other smaller activities. I work with “Helping A Hero” for severely wounded soldiers.
I want to take groups to places I haven’t been so we can experience them together. I love being a travel agent and helping people experience the world…
